The Family of Warren Bernhardt is honored to share a Celebration of Life Concert featuring performances by the musicians who played alongside Warren, as well as the students of the Hudson Valley Maverick Jazz Camp (HVMJC).

Under the musical direction of Harvey Boyer, this year’s inaugural Jazz camp rehearsed daily as a group for one week at Maverick Concerts, focusing on advanced Jazz music in small-group lessons tailored to their instruments, with direct instruction from Jazz professionals.

For the Celebration of Life Concert, we are delighted to have an evening of music directed by Scott Petito, who brought together Mike DeMicco, Mike Mainieri, Rachel Z, Peter Erskine, Paul Winter, Jay Anderson, Chuck Lamb, Marc Black, Teri Roiger, John Menegone, Paul Duffy, along with other Jazz Luminaries and the students of the HVMJC for an evening of Jazz music.

The funds raised from this concert’s ticket sales will go toward covering the costs of next year’s HVMJC. Through this concert, we seek to honor Warren’s legacy by preserving and passing on Jazz traditions to the younger generation of musicians in the Hudson Valley, performing in Woodstock, NY, the place Warren called home.
